DJ MISTER CEE, who hails from Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, made his mark in the music industry as the DJ for the Legendary Big Daddy Kane. Cee and Kane, who met at Sarah J. Hale High School in Brooklyn, released 6 albums together from 1988-1994. Cee was involved in the music production for Big Daddy Kane throughout his career. DJ Mister Cee was also the man that discovered the late great Notorious B.I.G. Cee served as the Associate Executive Producer for Biggie’s Albums “Ready To Die” and “Born Again”. Mister Cee even appeared in the movie NOTORIOUS, a film about the late Rapper’s life.

DJ Mister Cee recently ended a twenty-one year historic career at New York City’s World Renowned Radio Station, Hot 97. During Cee’s twenty-one year run at Hot 97, he was able to break artists such as Jay Z, Drake, Alicia Keys, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, most recently Bobby Shmurda and many more. Mister Cee who is half Trinidadian, also made his mark during his tenure at Hot 97 by exposing the listeners to Caribbean artists such as Vybz Kartel, Mavado, and Konshens. Soca artists Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin and Haitian bands such as Carimi and T-Vice. Cee also took pride in being a part of Hot 97’s yearly concert Summer Jam at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. Every year in front of 50,000 people, Mister Cee DJ sets were always the highlight of this legendary concert.

But it doesn’t stop there...

Throughout DJ Mister Cee’s career he has achieved some major accomplishments. From 2005-2007, Cee along with Hip Hop Legend Doug E Fresh was part of “P. Diddy Bad Boys of Comedy” which aired on HBO for 2 seasons. Also in 2005, Cee had the opportunity to do a two-year endorsement deal with Tropical Fantasy Soda which included Cee’s image appearing on the soda, as well as having his own flavor called “Island Punch Finisher”.

DJ Mister Cee’s talent has also exposed him to the video game world. In 2005, Cee was one of the voices for the video game “The Warriors” and in 2008 Cee was a Radio DJ in the video game “Grand Theft Auto IV”. Both games were produced by Rockstar Games.

Although DJ Mister Cee is mostly known as a Hip Hop DJ playing in clubs and stadiums throughout the World, Cee is also very passionate about sports. In the summer of 2007, Cee expanded on his passion for sports by appearing weekly on the TV show “Daily News Live”, on SNY (Sports Net New York).

Mister Cee is a DJ that doesn’t like to be second in anything. Being first is his only option. Cee was the first guest DJ to appear on BET’s 106 & Park, and on September 28, 2012, Cee became the first DJ to play opening night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for Jay Z’s 8 Shows, 8 Cho” concert series.

In December of 2014, Mister Cee was given the opportunity to continue his New York Radio Legacy by becoming a part of The New Radio 103.9. Cee spins Classic R&B and Hip Hop 7 days a week for the “Coffee Break”, “Throwback @ Noon” and “Weekend Boombox” mixes.

Currently, Mister Cee does the “Set it Off Show” which is a daily mix show that airs Mon-Thurs 10pm-12mid EST on LL Cool J’s Rock the Bells on Sirius XM Channel 43 playing classic Hip Hop from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s. Cee has also made a return back home to New York radio with the “Throwback At Noon” mixing classic Hip Hop & R&B Mon-Fri 12noon-1pm EST on 94.7 The Block.
